a businessman walks on the beach in a small fishing village. A boat entered the harbor, and a fisherman with a basket full of fish came down from it. The businessman congratulates the fisherman on his beautiful fish, asking him:

„How long did it take you to catch these fish?”

„Quite a little, sir,” replied the fisherman.

„But why didn’t you stay longer?” To catch more fish? the businessman asked.

„Because these few fish are enough for me and my family.”

„So what do you do the rest of the time?”

– Well, I get up whenever I want and go fishing a little. then I play with my kids, take a nap with my wife. In the evening I go to the village to meet my friends. We drink a glass of wine, play the guitar and listen to stories. A beautiful life, what more!

The businessman interrupted him:

– Listen! I have an M.B.A. from Harvard and I can help you. you should start by fishing more, and with the money you earn you can buy a bigger vessel. With the money you’re going to make now, you can buy a second ship and so on until you have a small fleet. then, instead of selling the fish to an intermediary, you could negotiate with the factory yourself or open your own fish factory. That’s how you could give up this village and move to New York, Los Angeles or even Beverly Hills. From there you will be able to run your own business.

the fisherman thought for a long time. Then he asked fearfully:

„How long would all this take?”

„Between 15 and 20 years old,” said the businessman.

– Okay after that?

„Well, it’s getting interesting now,” the businessman continued, smiling. at the right time, you can list your company on the stock exchange and earn millions!

– Millions? the fisherman marveled. And then?

„Then you can retire safely.” Get up when you feel like it, go fishing a bit, play with your grandchildren and take a nap with your wife. and you could spend the evenings with friends drinking a glass of wine and playing the guitar. Or reading stories to grandchildren.

„But that’s what I do now, sir.” Why wait 20 years
